This recipe was inspired by McDonald’s milkshakes. So next time their ice cream machine is broken, try this high-protein version instead!

Ingredients

1 scoop of hydrolyzed whey protein isolate

200mL / 8 oz milk

200mL / 8 oz milk

3 T / 1 oz heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. make a protein shake using the hydrolyzed whey protein isolate (we like this one) and 200mL / 8 oz
  2. distribute the shake into an icecube tray and freeze overnight
  3. add the frozen protein shake cubes to the blender with the 2nd 200mL of milk and cream
  4. blend until creamy
