Carnivore American-Style Biscuits


Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese

1 egg (separated)

4 oz sour cream

1/2c pork rinds

salt to taste


Instructions

  1. make sure all ingredients are at room temperature and preheat oven to 325F

  2. whip egg white to stiff peaks, set aside

  3. in a separate bowl, whip cream cheese on high for 3 mins until smooth

  4. add sour cream, pork rinds and egg yolk, beating together on low or mixing by hand until just combined (you do not want to over-mix!)

  5. gently fold egg white into cream cheese mixture

  6. bake at 325F for 35-40 minutes in a muffin tin lined with cupcake liners

  7. allow biscuits to cool in oven as long as possible - these should be served at room temperature
